today rises from its ashes in the moon of swirls
clinging outward from its uneven destiny in the
past of lives lived on the other side of anything
makes this special moment an arrival of signs

forging new ties into the summation of where we
have lived in other bodies other lives sent from
what we were given to work within this hour of
summary and chain of hourly translations of time

from the distant hours which lie unclaimed on the
floor of the house we live in as our bodies release
and climb into the air between us how you are now
returned from distant lands arrived between our eyes
