soon arrival

the boats finally reach the far shore of uncertainty
a journey long and testing of our mettle & doubt
yet cheerful we remain on the shore of adventure
a hope and expectation in the soul of each and every

nor mere pairing of words expects the line to end
and then go on with newer information at the ready
an illumination of the mere beginning which was
made at the top of the sign and the room of the way

no betrayal brings us down but the cool conclusion
of anything as it makes a way and then finds it and
then gathers for the final second of commission and
the force that enables the continuing spirit to prevail
